Junior Update: Offers Still Coming For Oghobaase

Alief Hastings DT standout Vince Oghobaase picked up three more full-ride offers, including one from a Big 12 South school, giving him a total of five official offers.

One official came from a school Vince Oghobaase has been corresponding with over the last few weeks, so not that big of a surprise, but the offer is now official...

"Texas A&M sent me the official offer letter now," Oghobaase sounding a bit relieved said. "Now I know they're serious about me."

His top two schools right now?

"LSU and Texas A&M."

Also extending offers were Duke and Arizona.

"Duke said I could earn one of the premier degrees in the country and Arizona said I have a chance to be a part of something special. They're a team on the rise who is going to be built into a winner with Mike Stoops in charge."

The University of Houston was the first school to pony up... At this point, though, LSU (utilizing running backs/special teams/assistant head coach Derek Dooley to recruit Oghobaase) and Texas A&M (which assigned defensive line coach Stan Eggen and safeties coach Melvin Smith to bring home the Alief Hastings DT) are neck-and-neck with everybody else right behind, but with a chance to move past the Tigers and Aggies.

"I'm going to take my visits, so anybody can jump into the lead if I like what I'm hearing and seeing. Right now, my early top two would be LSU and Texas A&M."
