Hallsville LB Talks Recruiting

Roddrick Muckelroy, who has offers from "Texas A&M, Arizona, LSU and Kansas" said he spoke with the Longhorns not too long ago...

"Texas' DB coach, Coach (Duane) Akina, told me he was coming out here to check out one of my spring practices," Muckelroy said. "That was about two weeks ago."

So is he lookin' at UT?

"Texas is definitely in the race," Muckelroy said. "They're in my top three along with LSU and Texas A&M."

Thoughts on the TAMU?

"Just feels like a place I'd want to be," said the 6-1.5, 210-pounder. "The coaches sound pretty cool. Just feels like somewhere I want to be."

Going to the A&M Spring Game?

"I don't know yet. I might be working."

Thoughts on LSU?

"They've also been talking with me. And that's another place I'd want to go to."

With Arizona recently offering, what are his thoughts on Mike Stoops' Wildcats? Do they have a chance?

"They just sent me an offer and haven't even talked to me," said the Hallsville senior-to-be. "So I don't know much about them yet."
