Junior Update: Youngblood Gets Offers, Visits

Houston Washington OT Reginald Youngblood is a natural at the offensive tackle position and is currently rated as one of the top prospects in the state of Texas at any position. Youngblood planned to hit the LSU Spring Game this past weekend, so we caught up with him to see if he in fact made the trip to Baton Rouge.

"No, I wasn't able to make it," Youngblood said. "I had to work on a research paper."

Recently, have any schools thrown their names in the hat?

"Alabama, Baylor and Kansas recently offered," said the 6-5.5, 285-pounder.

Those three have a shot at you?

"Everybody has a shot."

Schools/coaches to come by and see your practices?

"Ron Zook from Florida, the head coach from Tulane, Les Miles from Oklahoma State and coaches from Michigan, Arkansas and Arizona."

Possible summer camps?

"I'm not sure yet, but I know I'm definitely going to the LSU camp."

Youngblood still lists LSU and Texas as his leaders, with a top five of the Tigers, Horns, Oklahoma, Michigan, and Iowa.
