Marquis finished the season with 41 receptions for 970 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was asked how basketball is now going.
"Pretty good," he continued. "I've averaging around twenty points per game. I'm playing swing, you know, small forward, ‘two' guard and some point."
As an early pledge to Texas, is he continuing to receive phone calls from other schools?"
"I was at the beginning," Marquis said. "Washington and the Big Ten schools were calling, but not much anymore."
Still enthusiastic about signing with Texas?
"I certainly am," he said without hesitation. "I'm happy with my decision and can't wait to get down there."
Johnson will be one of the Top National Prospects playing in the U.S. Army Bowl in San Antonio at the AlamoDome on January 5th.
