DT Cedric Woodard co-led his Seattle team in tackles with eight and DT Marcus Tubbs tacked on another stop but the Seahawks lost to St. Louis 23-12. The Seattle D-line forfeited over 200 rushing yards in the loss.
Coming off a career game last week, which included an interception and fumble recovery, rookie CB Nathan Vasher had three tackles as his Chicago squad defeated Tennessee 19-17. Although the Bears' secondary gave up 334 passing yards, the defense gave Chicago an overtime win by forcing a safety to end the game.
OG Derrick Dockery played for Washington but the Redskins offense failed to get things going, as Cincinnati limited Washington to just one touchdown in a 17-10 Bengals victory. Washington failed to reach 100 yards rushing and dynamic rusher Clinton Portis racked up only 81 yards.
RB Emmitt Smith found the end zone twice with the help of OG Leonard Davis. Davis and his Arizona team beat the New York Giants 17-14 even though the offense gained less than 200 total yards.
New England beat Buffalo 29-6, as the Bills were without OG Mike Williams who sat out with a neck injury he sustained last week.
LB Kalen Thornton totaled three tackles for the Cowboys in Monday night's blowout loss to the Philadephia Eagles.
