With Killeen Shoemaker DT Roy Miller recently leaning toward Texas and backing away from a verbal he gave to Oklahoma in our last few Scout.com updates, we caught up with him to grab the latest details regarding his commitment status at this point in the process....
"I decided to decommit," Roy Miller
told Scout.com. "I guess you can say now it's official. Things aren't going the way that I had hoped they would. I'm still looking at them though. But I'm going to check out UT more and we'll (Miller, and his "mom and dad") get a another look at them when I take my official visit there this weekend."
Miller, the 6-2, 295-pound DT, went on to say that "UT has given us what we're looking for. I enjoy going up there to Austin. And my mom and dad are looking forward to seeing what they have to offer."
Asked what the Sooners could do to get back in his good graces, the 4-star prospect from Killeen said, "I don't know."
