Folks, that's a lot of travellin' for the 6-1.5, 210-pound signal caller.
With Mississippi State and Miami landing the latest official visits, Perrilloux gave us a few thoughts about those two choices...
On MSU: "Coach Sylvester Croom has a lot of NFL coaching experience, 12 years at Green Bay. So, he's going to straighten out the program and get things turned around. They're getting a lot of good recruits and putting in the west coast offense."
On UM: "They're (Canes) going to play a new quarterback. They have a few quarterbacks, so it might look kind of stacked, but they've never started a game. So, I could go in there and compete for the job. They run a pro-style system, always have great players that can be built around the QB, and they play against stout competition."
Perrilloux is no longer giving percentages. He said he's committed to UT, they still lead and was getting ready for the U.S. Army/Scout.com All-American game.
As for the latest message board fodder that he will be tripping to FSU and Miami the same weekends as Rouse, the Nation's No. 4 said, "When I get there, he'll be leaving. He's going to try to fit in all of his visits and so he's going to be taking some mid-week visits to do that. With the All-American thing taking up two weekends, that's forcing us to now take some mid-week visits to fit all of them in. And, we've already talked about it. It doesn't look we're going to be at FSU, or Miami, together. He'll be leaving (South Beach and Tallahassee) right when I get there."
With talk of package deals, Perrilloux said, "We'd love to go the same school together. But he's going to go to the school he wants to go to, and I'm going to go to the school I want to go to."
