Beasley also took in the Longhorns first spring practice and came away impressed. "Their spring practice was extremely nice. Everyone was having fun and handling their business at the same time."
Besides meeting the coaches and watching spring practice Beasley also meet a few of the guys he could end up playing alongside. "I talked to VY and the cornerbacks (Michael) Huff and (Aaron) Ross."
"I hung out with Robert (Joseph) who's from the same area I'm from, and the running back from California Demetrius (Sumler) the whole time. They're cool people."
Along with the offer from the Longhorns Beasley also has an offer from two other in-state schools in Texas A&M and Texas Tech. Although he didn't mention a leader he's giving UT serious consideration since he's planning on staying in state.
