Port Arthur Memorial head coach Dean Colbert also visits with Scout.com about the commitment of Robert Joseph to the University of Texas, not to mention also offers up a brief scouting report on the 5-11.5, 174-pound Memorial DB...

"Robert committed to UT on Wednesday, March 2nd," Port Arthur Memorial head coach Dean Colbert said. "He's always been a Texas Longhorn fan, was invited to their Junior Day and felt real comfortable there."

Scouting Report via HS Coach: "Tremendous athlete, can play a number of positions -- quarterback, receiver, running back (was the go-to RB when Jamaal Charles was out of the line-up the first few games of last season), free safety, strong safety -- and could play linebacker for us if we needed him too.

"At safety, he's a tremendous tackler, led the team in tackles last year which is amazing in our defense, just has a knack for making tackles, gets there quickly, like a missile. He's instinctive and makes good decisions."
