Spring Game Visitor: Terrell Turner

Lakeview Centennial HS WR Terrell Turner (Garland, TX) was in Austin for the Orange-White Game this past Saturday. He shared with Inside Texas his thoughts on the game and what one UT coach had to say to him about a possible offer.

Kansas is currently his only offer, but Turner talked to Bobby Kennedy and the Texas Recruiting Coordinator/Wide Receivers Coach personally invited him to UT's one day camp in June.

"Coach Kennedy told me that if I really perform well at the camp then I will have a good chance at being offered," the senior-to-be wideout said.

Turner also had a chance to speak to his good friend and former Centennial teammate Texas OL Cedric Dockery at the Spring Game.

Turner offered a few of his thoughts on the game. "The game was real intense right from the beginning. Vince Young was absolutely amazing and made plays with both his arm and his legs. I was really impressed," he said.
