The big time OL lays claim to thirteen offers.
"I have been offered by Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, Louisville, Clemson, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Tulsa, Kansas, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech," he said. "I currently do not have a leader nor do I know where I will take my official visits."
Webb has taken unofficial visits to Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee and will be visiting Michigan and Notre Dame this coming weekend. He has been to Austin twice.
"On February 12th I went down to Austin for a Junior Day and we toured the facilities," Webb said. "We got to speak to our position coaches as well as our recruiting coordinators. Coach Brown spoke to each of us individually in his office and that was when I was offered. We also had a Q & A segment with some of the players and attended the Longhorn basketball game that night."
On his second trip to Austin, Webb attended a practice and had another chance to speak to Head Coach Mack Brown.
"On my second visit, Coach Brown came over and talked to me during the practice and just wanted to see how things were going with the recruiting process," he said.
Webb is currently being recruited by Texas OL Coach Mac McWhorter.
"Coach McWhorter told me a lot about the tradition at Texas and the plans they have for the future. They told me they were most likely going to offer 4-5 OL in this year's class."
Last Saturday, Webb attended a Junior Day held on the University of Arkansas Campus in Fayetteville.
"I was a little late arriving since I had just finished up taking the ACT, but I did attend," he said. "Arkansas practices are currently closed to the public and the media, but we were all able to watch. The practice was very intense and there was a lot of pad popping."
There has been some talk about the possibility of Webb and his Springdale teammates attending the same school, but the OL said, "That hasn't been discussed between us much. We all want to go where we'll have the best chance to play and the school that fits us best."
Webb is currently qualified.
