Reese's Recruiting Heating Up

After stopping by Pflugerville Hendrickson High School to evaluate All-American Combine invitee WR Terrell Reese, we immediately realized his potential and began hyping this kid despite the fact that, at the time, he had yet to collect an offer. Soon thereafter we tabbed him as the No. 13 overall prospect in our Preseason Texas Top 100. Which teams have offered the 6-4, 200-pounder since our original report and which schools are seriously considering it?

Currently, Terrell Reese is sporting four official offers according to Pflugerville Hendrickson head coach Dwayne Weirick. Let's take a look...

"Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas and Arizona have officially offered," Weirick told

The Cats were the first to offer followed by the Huskers, Tigers, and Razorbacks. But that could be just the tip of the iceberg when you consider the size of Reese who eye-balls at 6-4, 200 pounds and is estimated to run in the high-4.5 or low-mid-4.6 range.

Big 12 South teams who could be on the brink of offering the standout wideout are Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State. They've had coaches out at Hendrickson and have indicated that they are, at the very least, inclined to pull the offer trigger.

Oklahoma, which might be looking for just one or two receivers in this year's class of prospects, could also consider tendering an offer his way. Weirick said the Sooners recently sent a coach in to check out Reese's film. But they have yet to ratchet up their dialogue...

Reese, who started on the Pflugerville High varsity football team as a sophomore (which is not commonplace for the Panthers, by any means) transferred to Pflugerville Hendrickson high school for his junior and senior seasons.

Teams looking for that big receiver who is athletic, can run and jump out of the gym can find that by stopping by Hendrickson to see's No. 1 player in the Central Texas region and No. 13th-ranked player overall in the Lone Star State.
