Waco Combine: L.J. Castile Q&A

La Marque quarterback L.J. Castile talks about his interest in Texas, the position he wants to play in college and his summer plans during an exclusive interview with Inside Texas at the combine at Baylor University.

Inside Texas: Are you hearing from Texas?

Castile: No. They’ve come by the school a couple of times, but aren’t pursuing it. It was really like hi and bye.

Inside Texas: How interested are you in Texas?

Castile: It’s all right. I haven’t really gotten any attention, so I can’t really say I like them. It’s really all about A&M right now. That’s the one I really like.

Inside Texas: Would you like to hear from Texas more?

Castile: I would, but I think I’m getting sleeped on now until the season starts.

Inside Texas: What schools have offered you a scholarship?

Castile: Only Colorado right now.

Inside Texas: What other schools are calling you?

Castile: A&M, Missouri and Houston.

Inside Texas: What are your top schools right now?

Castile: A&M, Houston, Colorado and probably Missouri.

Inside Texas: Do you want to play quarterback in college?

Castile: Yes sir.

Inside Texas: Are you willing to play another position in college besides quarterback?

Castile: I would, but it would be a hard time for me, because that’s all I’ve played my whole life.

Inside Texas: What is your height and weight?

Castile: I’m 6-foot-2 and something. I weigh 195 pounds.

Inside Texas: Where are you camping this summer?

Castile: At the Peyton Manning camp in Louisiana and the A&M camp.

Inside Texas: Do you know what schools you plan to visit officially this fall?

Castile: I really don’t know yet.
