"I haven't began to narrow down my list yet," he said. "I have no schools that I'm currently leaning toward." Morgan has over 30 offers, from a list of schools that includes USC, Oklahoma, Michigan, Texas A&M and most of the other Big 12 schools, and his latest came from a Big 12 North school. "Colorado is the latest school to offer me," he said. "They sent me a (scholarship) letter in the mail."
Mike's spring practice sessions at Skyline were the place to be for a number of high profile schools and their coaches. "Coach Wyatt from Oklahoma, Coach Chambers from Texas, Coach Franchione from Texas A&M, and Coach Norton from USC have all been to see me practice," he said.
Morgan attended the One-Day Camp held at UT back in early June. "The camp went great," he said. "I had a chance to talk to nearly the entire coaching staff and they really talked to me about the recruiting process a lot." Morgan said he spoke to Head Coach Mack Brown, DC/LB Coach Gene Chizik, TE Coach Bruce Chambers, RB Coach Ken Rucker and DE Coach Oscar Giles. Chambers is currently his recruiting coordinator.
Morgan recently attended a camp held at OU. "The Oklahoma camp went great too," he said. "I talked to nearly the entire coaching staff there as well and they really just said about the same things that the Texas Coaching Staff did. We just talked a lot about the recruiting process." Morgan went on to say that he isn't currently sure about the rest of his summer camp plans.
Mike said recently that he should have a top five by the end of summer, but don't expect a final decision from the Skyline standout till later in the process. "I'd like to take all of my official visits and then decide," he said.
