Depth chart notes: Roy Williams, who did very limited spring work while recovering from off-season ankle surgery, is expected to be 100-percent healthy in August and will start at SE. Kalen Thornton, who missed spring because of off-season knee surgery, is the projected starter at right DE if he is fully recovered by August. If he is unable to go in August or through the early part of the season, Sendlein projects as the starter at that spot. Ivan Williams, who missed the entire spring following off-season knee surgery, is expected to take over the No. 2 tailback spot when he returns in August. Dakarai Pearson, who missed spring football while tending to academics, is expected to step into the mix at free safety if he returns in the fall. Phillip Geiggar, who also missed the spring because of academics, is expected to battle for playing time at strong safety if he returns in the fall.
