On a rain soaked Disch-Falk Field, the Texas Longhorns defeated the Texas State Bobcats 2-1 Monday night. Texas surrendered one run early, but shut the Bobcats down the rest of the way to get their forth win in as many days. Before tonight, Texas swept the Aggies, while the Bobcats took a hard fought series with conference foe, Lamar. Augie Garrido said neither his squad nor Texas State were fatigued from the previous games and attributed the low score to the strong bullpens of each team. Full story
