Texas forwards not looking back
Will the last one out of the Erwin Center please hang a "vacancy" sign? Texas basketball coach Rick Barnes lost one player Thursday and is on the verge of losing another. P.J. Tucker, the forward who would be a senior next season, has signed with an agent, cementing his place in the NBA draft pool and precluding a return to college basketball. Tucker signed with Leon Rose, Longhorns team spokesman Scott McConnell said. Rose, who represents LeBron James, did not return phone calls to his office in Cherry Hill, N.J. Another forward, Mike Williams, is set to leave after his sophomore season. Williams, who is from Camden, Ala., likely will transfer to Cincinnati, Louisville or Birmingham Southern, according to a person close to Williams. Full story
