Chargers sign Jammer to extension
Cornerback Quentin Jammer has agreed to a new five-year contract extension that will run through the 2012 season, the team announced today. His current contract was scheduled to expire following the 2007 season.

Majewski Makes History
Dustin Majewski was a victim of the numbers game during the first half of the season, and was stuck at Single-A Dunedin. He finally got the well-deserved promotion in June and has shown everyone he deserves to be at this level. On Wednesday the outfielder hit his 11th Double-A home run of the season, and it was a franchise-record 4th consecutive game in which he homered.
