Marcus McGraw: 2008 LB Likes Texas

Bowie High School in Arlington always produces good talent on the football field. Linebacker Marcus McGraw is no exception. He had a great sophomore year and his expectations are even higher this season. McGraw likes Texas and is thrilled about the opportunity of playing in the Lone Star State on the next level.

"I'm mostly interested in the Texas schools like Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Texas and Baylor," Marcus McGraw said.

Which Texas school does McGraw favor?

"Texas," McGraw said. "I like the surroundings. I've seen them play a lot. I like their colors. I like it all."

The 5-foot-11, 200 pound McGraw recorded 95 tackles and sacked the quarterback four times as a sophomore. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds. McGraw also plays running back at Bowie High School but says he is being recruited for his defensive ability. He believes that his read and reaction time make him a good linebacker.

McGraw stated that he would like nothing more than to attend a school that is close to home. He plans on taking a trip to College Station to watch the Aggies play during the fall. As for beginning his junior campaign, McGraw can't wait to get on the field in the first game of the season.
