Big Time DE Prospect at Fossil Ridge

R.J. Washington from Keller Fossil Ridge High School in Texas has the potential to be one of the top five defensive end prospects for the class of 2008. He has all the tools to take over and dominate a football game. Several Big 12 schools are already paying Washington a lot of attention. Head Coach Hal Wasson raved about his stud defensive end.

"He is an extreme athlete," Wasson said. "He has good range and is very explosive off the edge. He has great pass rushing skills. He is a very competitive kid."

The 6-foot-4, 235 pound R.J. Washington is an incredible athlete. Many experts think that he has the potential to be a five-star recruit next year. Many colleges have already jumped on Washington's bandwagon and many more are sure to follow.

"I know Nebraska has shown a lot of interest in him," Wasson said. "He gets mail from everybody. UT, Oklahoma, A&M, and Nebraska are four off the top of my head that I know he's received a lot of literature from."

Keller Fossil Ridge has opened the 2006 season with an impressive 3-0 record thanks in large part to the play of Washington. He commands a lot of attention from his defensive end position. Fossil Ridge plays Flower Mound High School at Keller ISD Athletic Complex this Friday night.
