Greg Jordan: Shutdown CB at Dallas Madison

Dallas Madison High School is home to a very talented junior corner back. Greg Jordan dominates the secondary with athletic ability and supreme intelligence. Head Coach Ronald Johnson had nothing but good things to say about Jordan.

"Greg is an honor student and will finish in the top 10 percent in his class," Johnson said. "He is a great cover corner. He has great smarts and football savvy. He will come up and make tackles. I think he has three picks this year. He is definitely going to be a D-1 prospect. He is the complete package."

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Greg Jordan's talent is not limited to the football field. He shows off his incredible speed and jumping ability as a hurdler at Madison as well.

"He's also a hurdler," Johnson said. "He ran the 300 meter hurdles and made it to regionals last year. We are hoping that he competes for a state championship this year."

Jordan is receiving mail from a tremendous amount of Division I schools. Coach Johnson ran down a couple of schools that he has heard from lately.

"He is getting tons of mail on my desk every day," Johnson said. "You name it and they have come through. He has gotten leaders from Purdue, Central Florida, Kansas, Georgia Tech. Just about every D-I is sending him something every day."

The Madison Trojans are undefeated so far this season. They are open this week which gives them two weeks to prepare for their game next Saturday against Carrollton Ranchview High School at Carrollton's Standridge Stadium.
