Coach Vanover spoke very highly about what lies ahead of Monroe in the upcoming years.
"He can do anything he wants to on the football field. He has a great attitude and personality. He has a 3.4 GPA. He has everything in front of him," Vanover said.
The 5-foot-9, 185-pound Monroe has blazing speed. On top of football, he is also a track star at Angleton where he won the state championship in the 100-meter relay as a sophomore.
Monroe is already hearing from just about every major program across the nation.
"Everybody in America is (showing interest)," Vanover said.
