Kendall Wright: Names Top Four

Pittsburg junior Kendall Wright is one of the most versatile athletes in the state of Texas. Schools all over the country have already noticed his ability on the football field. He ran down a list of his top four schools.

"Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas State," Wright said. "There are a lot more that I hear from through the mail, but those are the top four."

The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Wright will likely have a long list of schools to choose from before recruiting is all said and done. According to Wright, he is being recruited to play wide receiver on the next level. One thing is for sure, he definitely has the speed to blow by opposing corners. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds.

Wright made a trip up to Norman earlier this year to attend the Sooner's summer football camp.

"I went to one camp at Oklahoma. It went good," Wright said.

Wright also tried to go to a Texas game earlier this year but had something come up at the last minute.

Despite having a losing season this year, Wright's desire and leadership on the football field definitely shows through his play.

"I play hard and I am a leader," Wright said.
