Andrew Luck Talks Recruiting

Houston Stratford quarterback Andrew Luck is one of the top junior signal callers in the Lone Star State. He has already racked up seven scholarship offers over the past couple of months. He ran down a list of his top schools and talked about which junior days he would attend.

"I don't know. I would say there were probably about five or ten schools that I am interested in," Andrew Luck said. "I like Purdue, Northwestern, Texas, Cal, UCLA, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and West Virginia."

Luck talked about the interest that the Texas Longhorns have been showing of late.

"Somewhat," Luck said. "I still receive mail from them occasionally."

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Luck earned Offensive MVP honors for his performance on the football field as a junior. He completed approximately 180 passes for 2,999 yards and 27 touchdowns during the season. Several schools have already taken an interest in Luck and offered him a scholarship.

"It's going good. I've gotten offers from Duke, Oklahoma State, Northwestern and Purdue lately," Luck said. "I also have offers from U of H, Nebraska and Kansas State."

Luck has been invited to attend junior days at several schools across the nation. Which ones will he attend?

"I've been invited to A&M, Kansas, Purdue, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Northwestern, U of H and Nebraska," Luck said. "I will probably go to A&M just because of its proximity to Houston. I will probably go to one or two."
