Uncovering Jeffrey Fuller

McKinney Boyd's Jeffrey Fuller is one of the most athletic junior wide receivers in state of Texas. Unfortunately, he was not able to showcase all of his skills in the run oriented offense employed by McKinney Boyd. However, this does not mean that Fuller is flying under the radar. He has already racked up three scholarship offers.

"It's (recruiting) going pretty smoothly. Today was a real good day for me. I didn't get a chance to talk to them, but Coach (Bob) Stoops and Coach (Dennis) Franchione came by today," Fuller told Inside Texas. "I have an offer from Texas A&M, an offer from Oklahoma and an offer from Boston College."

Fuller is hearing from several other elite programs as well. He is expecting to receive offers from Oklahoma State, LSU, Florida and Texas Tech in the near future.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Fuller has already been invited to several junior days.

"I have been invited to Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and LSU," Fuller said. "I am going to try to make all of them."

Fuller is the son of former San Francisco 49ers defensive back Jeff Fuller. Fuller's son has a ton of potential going forward. He caught 25 passes for 350 yards and three touchdowns during his junior season. He talked about how he was used in McKinney Boyd's offense.

"We are pretty much a run oriented team. We had a very young quarterback this year," Fuller said. "They tried to get the ball in my hands on kickoffs and things. When we passed, we mainly ran short comeback routes. I gained a lot of yards after the catch."

Fuller has great size and speed at the wide receiver position. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds. Beyond his physical skills, Fuller brings incredible work ethic to the football field.
