Skyline High School is home to one of the best defensive units in the state of Texas. They have at least three quality Division I prospects on the defensive side of the ball from the class of 2008. Linebacker Spencer Reeves talked recruiting with Inside Texas.
"I've been invited to Texas
' junior day and Oklahoma
's junior day. I'm going to try to go to both of them," Spencer Reeves
said. "I am going to try to make it to Texas on February 11th, and I think Oklahoma's is on February 3rd."
Reeves is not the only prospect from Skyline that has received an invitation to attend Texas' junior day. Safety Keanon Cooper and defensive end Alfred Dupree are likely to attend as well.
"Keanon and Alfred have both been invited," Reeves said.
Reeves received his first scholarship offer earlier this week when the Minnesota Golden Gophers stopped by Skyline.
"I have one offer so far from Minnesota," Reeves said. "The only school that has come by is Minnesota. That is when I found out they offered me."
Reeves is hoping that Texas and Oklahoma offer at their respective junior days. His top five schools include Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, Baylor and Florida State.
