Taylor Cook Talks Junior Days

Rice High School is home to one of the top signal callers in the state of Texas. Taylor Cook does not receive as much publicity as Riley Dodge, Andrew Luck or Ivan Delgado, but he may be the most physically gifted quarterback in the group. Cook has been invited and plans to attend several junior days over the next few weeks.

"I went to Texas A&M's last weekend, and I am going to Texas' this Sunday," Taylor Cook said.

Cook had nothing but good things to say about the atmosphere in College Station.

"It was awesome. I loved their facilities and their coaches. It was pretty cool," Cook said after visiting Texas A&M.

Cook talked about his expectations for this weekend's junior day at the University of Texas.

"I just want to check out the facilities. I heard they have some new stuff. I want to talk to the coaches a little more. They are pretty nice. I also want to see some of the guys that are my competition, but I mainly want to talk to the coaches," Cook said.

"I have talked to Coach Giles, but not a lot," Cook said. "He just told me that they are recruiting me and invited me to their junior day."

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound Cook has not received any scholarship offers yet. Texas, Texas A&M and Northwestern have been showing the most interest lately.
