Spencer Reeves: Blown Away By UT Jr. Day

Linebacker Spencer Reeves was one of two Skyline prospects that attended the Longhorns' first junior day of this year. Reeves and Safety Keanon Cooper came away very impressed with the visit.

"I loved everything about it, the coaches, the players," Spencer Reeves said. "It was awesome. They are definitely my number one school right now."

Reeves did not receive a scholarship offer but suspects that the Texas coaching staff is leaning towards extending one.

"I think they were leaning towards that," Reeves said. "Right before we left, we talked to Coach Chambers. He didn't say anything specifically about an offer, but I think that is where things are going."

Reeves got an opportunity to check out the campus and talk to some of the current players on the UT roster.

"It was fine," Reeves said. "We took a tour of the campus and got to meet the coaches and players."

"I talked to Coach Brown, but it wasn't anything personal. He came up and introduced himself at lunch and said that he knew who I was," Reeves said.
