"Right now, I'd have to say my top schools are Texas, Oklahoma State, Houston, Baylor, Texas Tech and Oklahoma," said the multi-sport athlete, lettering in football, basketball, baseball and track at Dayton high school.
Thoughts on Favorites:
Texas: "They pretty much run the same offense we do. And, I just think that I am a pretty good fit in what they try to do offensively. And, I just like their team a lot."
Oklahoma State: "They're pretty much the first school to show me attention, the first school to recruit me. And, I really like what they do offensively."
Houston: "It's QB-friendly. And they sure can develop quarterbacks there. Kevin Kolb went in the second round of the NFL Draft, so..."
Texas Tech: "They like to throw the ball. And, I love to throw it. So, they have an offense that's very appealing to quarterbacks."
Oklahoma: "I've pretty much always liked Oklahoma. To play for Oklahoma you have to be a big time. They're always good."
His summer camp plans include "Texas, Oklahoma State, U of H and Peyton Manning's Camp."
Sophomore Season Stat Package: "1500 yards passing, 22 TDs and 600-700 yards rushing, with 3-4 TDs."
Basketball Stats: "Averaged 12 points, 6-7 rebounds, 5 blocks, 3-4 steals and 2-3 assists as a center in basketball."
Track Exploits: "My best open 400 meter-time is 50-flat and my best triple jump is 46 feet."
Baseball Stats: "I played right field, had a .250 batting average and 15 RBIs in 25 games."
