Jeremy Gray: Impressive Spring Brings Offers

Sherman, Texas defensive end Jeremy Gray got an opportunity to prove that he was worthy of college scholarship offers during spring practice, and that is exactly what he did. Five schools have already extended offers, and several others are showing interest. Texas was one of the schools that stopped by Sherman High School. How much interest do they have in Gray?

"No sir," Jeremy Gray replied when asked if the Longhorns were showing interest. "They came by one of my spring practices, but that is it."

Gray was excited to report that he has earned five scholarship offers over the past two months. He ran down the list of the schools that have offered.

"North Texas, OSU (Oklahoma State), Purdue, Texas A&M and Kansas," Gray said. "I think that is it."

Gray also mentioned that Louisville has been coming on strong lately. Despite holding several offers, the Sherman product is still wide open.

"No Sir," Gray replied when asked if he had any favorites. "I'm still open right now. I will probably make a decision around football season."

One school that Gray has taken a lot of interest in is North Texas. He attended a junior day in Denton and might be making a return trip over the summer.

"I think I might be going to one at North Texas," Gray replied when asked about summer camps. "They have a good football program. They just hired a new coach, Todd Dodge. He has won a lot of championships. Plus, they have a really good business program."
