Longhorns Buried on Square's List

Houston Yates' defensive end Damian Square would be the first to tell you that he rushed into the recruiting process. Since he decommitted from A&M, Square has been one of the most sought after prospects in the Lone Star State. He just got back from camp at Miami and is planning on making several more visits before the end of the summer. Will Square visit UT?

"UT, I'm probably not going to take a visit there," Damian Square said. "Right now, they aren't recruiting me very, very hard."

Just because Texas isn't recruiting Square with fervor doesn't mean that other schools are not all over him. In fact, you would be hard pressed to find another prospect that will be busier than Square this summer. He is planning on traveling all over the country to visit some of his top schools.

"I'm planning on going down to Notre Dame. I want to visit Florida, Oklahoma and Arkansas. I'm probably going to try to get up to Cal. I definitely want to check out Alabama and Tennessee. I'm going to be all over the place," Square said.

Square's first visit of the summer came over the weekend in Miami. He talked about his experience at the U.

"I just got in from Miami today. I went to camp down there," Square said. "It went good. I enjoyed myself and had a good time just enjoying the city and the atmosphere."

Square is still wide open at this point in time. He talked about what he is trying to figure out during his visits.

"I'm still wide open," Square said. "I want to check out some different places and find where I feel at home. I also want to check out the coaching staffs. I want to see what they know, but other than that I'm just enjoying the recruiting process."
