Kheeston Randall: Coaches Impressed
Monsignor Kelly defensive tackle Kheeston Randall made a huge splash when he committed to the University of Texas back in February. Not many people had heard of him before his commitment, but since then he has shot up the rankings. Randall attended Texas' summer camp two weekends ago and talked about the experience.

It's popular to presume – but hardly guaranteed – that Portland will pick Ohio State center Greg Oden with the first choice of the NBA draft, "leaving" Texas forward Kevin Durant available for the Sonics. For the Sonics, it's a foolproof situation. Do not for a moment see Durant as some kind of fall-back position, or that the Sonics are somehow getting a leftover, or that they're having to settle for second-best. This guy looks like a giant star in the making.
