How was his trip to LSU? It was simply ‘all right', but the big defensive tackle did enjoy the chow in Baton Rouge.
"It was all right," Randall said about the visit to LSU. "They had some nice food."
"I just went down there with one of my hommies," Randall added. "I just wanted to get out of Beaumont for awhile and find something fun to do."
Randall was one of three prospects to commit shortly after Texas' second junior day in late February. He returned to Austin for the Longhorn's annual spring game in late March and also attended at Texas summer camp in June.
Each time Randall has visited Austin, he told Inside Texas about how much he enjoyed meeting the other Longhorn commitments and how close the 2008 class is. So far, Randall still appears solid with the Horns.
Randall remains a key commitment for the Longhorns because Texas only has two defensive lineman commitments in its current class and both happen to be defensive tackles, the other being Ceder Hill's Jarvis Humphrey.
