Poll Report: Creepin' Back

The Texas Longhorns gained one spot in the polls on Sunday, moving up to No. 6 in the AP and Coaches.

Once again, USC and LSU remain atop the polls, but in the AP Poll, the Trojans and Tigers have a new team nipping at their heels. After smashing Miami, 51-13, the Oklahoma Sooners are No. 3 in the Associated Press Poll. Over in the Coaches', OU is at No. 5, just in front of Texas, which is at No. 6 in each poll.

Elsewhere in the Big 12, Nebraska is at No. 14 in each poll after a 20-17 win over Wake Forrest and Texas A&M, curiously enough, simultaneously went up in the Coaches' to 18 and down in the AP to 25 after a 47-45 win in overtime against Fresno State.
