Snow: 'I'm Going to Texas, Not Anywhere Else'

Gilmer offensive guard David Snow was one of the first prospects from the 2008 class to commit to the Longhorns and his feelings for Texas haven't changed since then. Snow talked to IT about his commitment to the Longhorns, his future teammates and his senior season.

"I'm going to Texas, not anywhere else," David Snow said when asked about his commitment to the Longhorns.

Snow has attended several games at UT this year and he enjoys each and every trip to Austin.

"I've been down for two games, but I try to make it to all of them," Snow said. "I like going down there every time."

Snow enjoys getting to hang out with the other commits when he travels to the 40 Acres, and he talked about his future teammates.

"I usually see them everything I go down there," Snow said. "They all seem like really good guys."

Texas has had a rough go of it the last two weekends after starting the season undefeated. Snow talked about their performance against the Oklahoma Sooners.

"I think they are playing hard," Snow said. "That stuff just happens sometimes. I think it will be interesting to see how they bounce back from this one. I want to see how they react to the whole situation."

Gilmer is without a doubt a powerhouse in 3A football in the Lone Star State. They are off to another good start this year.

"We are 5-0," Snow said. "I believe we have the team this year."
