Today was a good day. I woke up at 5:30 a.m. and made it to school to get my treatments on my finger. Man, a couple of days ago I dropped a dresser on it. I have to get my finger better because I have a couple of camps I am thinking of attending on January 3-5. It's called the Army-All American Bowl Combine.
And besides, what recruiter wants to see a prospect that is all banged up. A lot of people don't realize how competitive I am. During fourth period around 10:45a.m., Hasan Lipscomb and I raced each other in the 100-meters. That cat beat me. He ran a 10.57 and I ran a 10.67. That cat is fast.
Oh yeah, I just received a letter from coach (Mack) Brown from Texas inviting me to their junior day on February 10. I hope they offer (wink wink, ha ha ha).
Its about 2:30 p.m. and I was on my way to my locker to head to lunch and I hear the coaches talking about that ESPN wants to showcase us in one of the high school games against the Katy Tigers or some team from Florida.
I am on my way to the weight room and then I get a call from a man by the name of Tim Jackson and he wants to train me. But check this out, the man is Vince Young's trainer. Man !!!!
Oh yeah, I have to go and call coach (Dan) Mullen the quarterbacks coach from Florida. Tell me, why he had the nerve to say Tim Tebow couldn't throw out of high school. The kid threw for 4,000 yard his senior year, but I think he was joking though.
When I got home, my dad and I were watching TV and saw that Michigan got a new coach (Rich Rodriguez). He is from West Virginia and I liked their offense. And now he is at Michigan. My dad said, "Michigan…how that sound? I said, it sounds good."
