Jarvis Humphrey: Practice Update

Five future Longhorns arrived in Orlando Sunday night in preparation for the Under Armour All-America game. Inside Texas caught up with Jarvis Humphrey to talk about his learning experience at practice and his chemistry with his future teammates.

"It's been going good," Jarvis Humphrey said about practice. "A lot of the other guys have a lot of technique. They have like perfect technique. Omar Hunter, he has perfect technique. I'm trying to learn something from everybody that I am working with, so I can get better."

Humphrey is taking every opportunity to learn and grow as a player during his time in Orlando. He talked about some of the things he wanted to improve upon.

"I want to improve my left-hand stance, my first step, staying off and using my hands more, just the basics," Humphrey said.

Humphrey's teammate on the Red team, DeSean Hales, has been showcasing his return ability throughout the first two days of practice. Humphrey talked his relationship with Hales and about his overall performance.

"Me and him have been spending a lot of time together because when I first got down here I really didn't know anybody yet. Me and him have been hanging out," Humphrey said. "He is doing real good. They have him on punt returns and kickoff returns. This is the first time I've seen him play football. I've been watching him and he is fast."
