Pro Day helps improve draft stock

All the offseason training in the world couldn't change one number for Brandon Foster: his height. Foster was among the former Texas football players to be measured, weighed and analyzed in almost every possible manner in front of NFL scouts and position coaches from around the league at Wednesday's Longhorn Football Pro Timing Day. "They called out 5-foot-7, and it was real loud," Foster said. "I wish I could have been 5-8 and it would have sounded a little bit better." But in about every other measure, the former Texas safety improved his chances at getting picked up by a team in the NFL draft, set for April 26-27.

Harmon looked around again. Freshmen. Everywhere the Longhorns' associate head coach looked, he saw freshmen.
