Texas waiting for D.J. to decide whether to chase NBA dream
Associated Press
The Texas Longhorns are waiting. Waiting to see if they could be next season's No. 1. Waiting to see if they'll have to find a new floor leader. They're waiting for sophomore All-American point guard D.J. Augustin to make up his mind: Will he stay in college for another season or bolt for the NBA? Augustin, however, seems in no hurry to make up his mind.

Austin American-Statesman
The first day of the NCAA's month-long spring national signing period might pass today without Texas adding any basketball players. Coach Rick Barnes has a commitment from J'Covan Brown, a guard from Port Arthur who is ranked No. 42 in the class of 2008 by Rivals.com. But Brown and his father, Johnny Ray, said Tuesday that J'Covan probably will wait until Monday to make it official, so that he is eligible to compete in an AAU tournament for this weekend.
