Longhorns up early and often
Austin American-Statesman
It took Texas two-thirds of an inning to score as many runs against Texas A&M as the Aggies scored in the teams' three-game series last week. Texas had seven runs after the first inning Wednesday at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark. The Longhorns had 10 runs after two, and they had 12 after three. After nine innings, Texas had a 15-9 victory over A&M at the Big 12 tournament, the Longhorns' fourth win over the regular-season Big 12 champions in less than a week.
