Different type of off-season goal takes Colt McCoy to Peru

Somewhere in a remote part of Peru, in a village cut out of the jungle near the Amazon River, lives a young boy named Juan who sports a slightly used burnt-orange Longhorns T-shirt. The youngster knows the Biblical story of Daniel in the lion's den. The little boy also learned how David used his slingshot to slay the giant, Goliath. And he now knows how to throw and catch a football. He has Texas quarterback Colt McCoy to thank for that.

Dre Kirkpatrick Talks Summer Visits
Dre Kirkpatrick, five-star defensive back from Gadsden, (Ala.), City, expects to keep a busy summer. He has already checked out Alabama and Texas with several other visits planned as well. Kirkpatrick talked about the two recent trips with fellow teammate and five-star wide receiver Kendall Kelly.

Greg Timmons Enjoys UT Camp Experience
Wide receiver wasn't exactly the biggest need for Texas going into the 2009 recruiting season, but the Longhorns struck gold when they pulled Eisenhower wide receiver Greg Timmons out of the grasp of the Oklahoma Sooners. Timmons, arguably the top pure receiver in the Lone Star State, camped at Texas over the weekend and talked about the experience.
