Temple running back Lache Seastrunk has already cemented himself as one of the top players in the nation for the class of 2010 and on Sunday he brought his considerable talent to Austin for a Texas camp. Seastrunk talked with Inside Texas about the event and where the Horns stand in recruiting.

On Sunday, a host of 2010 prospects were in Austin for a Texas camp, including a talented local product who the Longhorns have already starting recruiting in Round Rock McNeil linebacker Kurt Killens.

Jay Guy: Texas Still on Top
With only a couple of prospects left on the radar for 2009, the Texas Longhorns got a chance to evaluate some of the top prospects in the 2010 class on Sunday. One of the more highly touted players in attendance was Eisenhower defensive tackle Jay Guy. Guy has had Texas at the top of his list from the beginning and things didn't change over the weekend.

Kennard Gets Ready to Trim List
Devon Kennard holds roughly 30 offers and the Desert Vista standout knows that he must narrow down his list to a more manageable number. As he prepares for that task he's closely examining various schools so he can formulate a single digit file. The latest stop in that process for the nation's top defensive end was a visit to Arizona State.

Texas finishes fourth at NCAA track and field championships

The University of Texas men's track team, paced by victories from junior Jacob Hernandez in the 800 meters and senior Leo Manzano in the 1,500, moved from 15th to fourth place in the team standings as the NCAA track and field championships roared to a conclusion Saturday.

UT junior Hernandez wins NCAA 800-meter run

Texas junior Jacob Hernandez won his first national title by the slimmest of margins Saturday, setting a school record with a time of 1 minute, 45.31 seconds to capture the 800-meter run on the final day of the NCAA championships in Des Moines, Iowa.
