The Texas Longhorns went into abbreviated bye-week mode Thursday, ditching their plans for Arkansas and turning their attention to Rice, their next opponent. Longhorns football coach Mack Brown started shuffling game plans late Wednesday, after athletic department officials decided to postpone Texas' game against Arkansas because of concerns about Hurricane Ike.

Lindsey just wanted to say hello, and "let her know that I was watching the games." But when she turned to leave, Goestenkors told Lindsey to wait. Oh no, Lindsey thought, I'm in trouble. Instead, Goestenkors held up a piece of paper, and Lindsey saw some scribbling on the UT stationary.
