"I went to Austin for the Missouri game with Darius (White) and Rashad (Favors). It was a good game. They blew them out," said Sanders.
Sanders was equally impressed with the atmosphere and the facilities of the Texas Longhorn game day.
"Coach (Bruce) Chambers showed us around the weight room. It was cool. The stadium was great. I'd love to play at a place like that," added Sanders.
Sanders has yet to receive his first official offer, but is getting attention from Washington, Iowa State, Texas Tech, Texas, and Oklahoma. Most of those schools are recruiting Sanders as a cornerback. Sanders has also been invited to a Texas A&M Junior Day. Sanders does have a couple of schools that stand out.
"My top schools are Texas, definitely number one, (Texas) Tech, Oklahoma, and Alabama. That's about it," Sanders said.
For his junior season, Sanders rushed 49 times for 575 yards and four touchdowns, and had 41 catches for 503 yards and an additional four touchdowns. He also threw two touchdown passes.
In addition to football, Sanders runs track and plays baseball for the Wildcats. Sanders runs the 200, 4 x 100, 4 x 200, and 4 x 400, and also plays centerfield.
