Sophomore to Watch: Lancaster LB Trey Brown

Many people have deemed the 2010 class the year of the linebacker in Texas, but Trey Brown of Lancaster, a class of 2011 linebacker, wants people to know that there are some special ones in that class too. Brown led his team in tackles as a sophomore that features several other defensive college prospects. Check out Brown's sophomore highlights!

Trey Brown (6-1, 210) is one of several college prospects on a very talented Lancaster Tiger team that is looking improve on its 7-5 2008 campaign. That defense returns junior corner Tyler Stephenson and junior safety Quentin Hayes. Defensive end Lance Skyler (6-3, 220) is a sophomore like Brown and will draw serious college interest as well.

One district coach said of Brown, "He has a chance to be one of the top two linebackers in Texas as a senior."

Brown played as a freshman for the Tigers and led the team in tackles as a junior.
