Many Texans are not familiar with the town of Whitehouse which is nestled between Dallas and Shreveport just southeast of Tyler, but college recruiters will be making their way in droves. Head Coach Randy McFarlin has assembled a team that despite their 2008 6-5 record is poised to be one of the top 4A programs in the state for the next two seasons.

Whitehouse, Texas may be home to five Big 12 level players in their sophomore class. The best of the bunch, and perhaps the entire state, is wide receiver Trey Metoyer. Running back DeJuan Shelton is also a threat each time the ball is in hands. Those two provide new quarterback Preston Conder plenty of options to stretch the field.

On the defensive side, the Wildcats also boast a ball-hawking safety Quincy Aldridge who is the cousin of former Aggie lineman Jami Hightower, and tackle Joey Gauney.

Aldridge will also line up at receiver this season to provide even more fireworks.
