Texas high school football practice for some started on Monday. On Wednesday, Burnt Orange Beat made stops at Cleveland High and Dayton High to check in some of the more talented prospects in the Houston area.

At Cleveland, junior defensive end Cedric Reed was putting work at tight end working on blocking technique.

At Dayton, the Broncos went through offensive and defensive drill work, worked in 7-on-7 as well as on kick coverage teams.

Dayton is talented as always featuring 2010 LB/DE Chris Young, 2012 running back Jakari Delasbour and 2012 receiver Gamal Fowler.
