In Focus: Klein Oak Panthers

Klein Oak has a number of future division one prospects on their 2009 team ranging from the senior to sophomore class. On Monday, Burnt Orange Beat took in the Panthers workout to see about all of the special talents and may have uncovered some new talents.

The Klein Oak Panthers are home to some of the top young prospects in the Houston area whether it is in the 2011 or 2012 class. The top junior in the program is defensive end Nathan Hughes, who will be one of the top prospects in the country in the 2011 class.

Joining Hughes in the junior class is talented tight end Max Stevenson and a pair of twin receivers and kick returners Tory and Cory Waites.

Like Hughes, Stevenson will likely be a nationally recruited prospect, while the Waites have speed and quickness to burn along with versatility.

The 2012 class features four talented playmakers that will likely see time on varsity led by starting safety Nick Barrati.

Here is a look at the some of the talented Klein Oak players.
