His two latest offers are from two of the most prestigious programs in all of college football. Texas and LSU are the latest additions to the cornerbacks offer list.
"I got offered by both Texas and LSU recently," said Jenkins.
Jenkins' strong performance at the Texas camp two weeks ago triggered an offer from the Longhorns coaching staff.
"I was stressing at first when I got to the camp, but then I just played my game and I was happy with my performance and the coaches were happy with my performance."
The Texas offer meant a great deal to the Lewisville standout defender.
"It means I went to their camp and showed them I can play at that level. I showed them I can cover their receivers. It would be a big honor to play there because so many people want to play there."
His second major offer came from his home state of Louisiana. The LSU tigers threw their hat into the ring when they offered him a scholarship on June 11.
"I was glad to get an offer from LSU. It would be a great honor to play at home in front of my family and be a great role model for the kids. It would be a great opportunity to play in my home state. "
Many consider the LSU tigers to be a favorite of Jenkins because he is from Baton Rouge and grew up a Tigers fan, but he insists that he has no leader at this point in his recruitment.
"They are all the same right now. All of them are great schools, I gotta find the right one for me."
The Lewisville standout defender plans on narrowing things down this summer and could have a list of finalists in the near future.
"I'm going to narrow things down pretty soon. I should most likely have a top-5 in the next few weeks."
This summer Jenkins will be focusing on his summer workouts as well as traveling to College Station to with his high school team to participate in the 7-on-7 state championships. He is unsure whether he will attend any more camps this summer.
