Zach Harig Takes Over as Toledo Scout Owner
Toledo has been added to the Scout Network and 20-year old Zach Harig will be the publisher of the site. Harig, a New Salem, Michigan native - is a current junior at The University of Toledo where he studies Communications with a Sports Broadcasting (television/radio) emphasis. Harig comes to Scout with nearly three years of experience from writing for TheRocketNation on the Rivals network and looks to provide exclusive content to Toledo Scout. This fall, Harig will be the co-sports director of WXUT - the university student radio station and has covered nearly every Toledo Football game since stepping on campus, including the 16-12 upset at Arkansas. Aside from this, Harig is an Admissions Ambassador at the University of Toledo, working with future Rockets and current students as well. Harig has broadcast Toledo Baseball games for ESPN3 and has done camerawork for several Toledo Football and Basketball games, aside from his time on the radio. Scout is extremely excited to grow the network, especially with someone on campus and familiar with the Rocket Football program. Stay tuned to Toledo Scout as the site gets started.
